Globecomm to build Mexico Ka-band gateway for Hispasat

Connectivity provider Globecomm has announced a contract to design and deploy a 7.3m Ka-band gateway satellite earth station in Ixtlahuaca de Rayon in Mexico for Spanish satellite operator Hispasat. The station will support high-throughput services via the Ka- band payload on Hispasat's Amazonas 5 satellite, which started operating last November.
