Structured product data as a basis for virtual product development

摘要

To realize the "virtual product" vision in automotive industry it is to strengthen systematically the analysis departments in the design process. A significant impact comes from the integration of digital models into engineering-wide known product structures of PDM systems. This way of data publishing is beyond the traditional information logistics and enables a flexible and effective integration of data customers in a virtual product development, and their results respectively.
