Gems, jewellery exports up 12% in April-July

Exports of gems and jewellery grew 11.7 per cent to $11.4 billion during the first four months of the current fiscal, driven largely by demand in major markets such as the US.In April-July period of the last fiscal, exports from the sector were at $10.21 billion, according to the data from Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).
