Wool clobbers cashmere — officially

It has been a long-running battle between sheep and goat breeders about who had the best product. But not anymore, according to tests run by the Sheep CRC. The results are in says the Cooperative Research Centre for Sheep Industry Innovation (Sheep CRC). And wool is the winner. Objective testing has finally ended that long-running argument in what's better — wool or cashmere. The Sheep CRC commissioned the manufacture of select ultrafme wool fabrics to provide a set of benchmarks for the measurementof next-to-skin comfort and handle.
