摘要

In the development of ultra-low-noise machines, one topic is the improvement of the heat balance that accompanies the capsulization of the source of noise. Technology is the key to solving the mutually conflicting demands of low noise levels andenlarged air openings and increased air flow, and improvements in the air flow taking the heat outside from the inside of the capsule.Based on analysis of the phenomena of noise flow and wind flow from the air openings, we achieved a big reduction in the noise level of 10 dB(A) with a margin of more than 3℃ in the heat balance from the standard temperature on the PC128UU urban typehydraulic excavator, a machine where low noise levels are most demanded and the structure is most severe for the heat balance.This report gives an outline of the phenomenon analysis technology achieved in the development stages and actual examples of the improvement in the heat balance achieved by applying this technology.
