Heat Stress can be a serious side-affect of farm work during summer. Working outdoors, working with machinery that generates radiant heat and working in hot vehicles can lead to heat-related illness, which in rare cases can be life threatening. Whileworking outdoors is one of the things farmers love about their job, most farm work is strenuous and undertaken when temperatures are high during summer.
