Welcome to a new knowledge era

It is hard to believe that Knowledge Management event is now five years old as the time has passed so quickly. Today's event is quite different from its early days as a 'talking shop' and now provides a forum where managers concerned with KM can really do business with suppliers of the full gamut of knowledge-related tools and services - all under one roof. The list of participants has changed too, as over the last year particularly, we have seen companies merge, grow and - sadly - flounder in the shock waves from a combination of the brakes going on in the dot com market and the general recessionary chi that has touched every business sector.
