摘要

The correct prediction of the lifetime of a multiaxiai and dynamic loaded rubber part requires knowledge of the location of the first failure in the part. A method for determining the damage distribution in the part is presented. This method is based on the local approach of fatigue strength analysis and does not require the time-consuming FEM calculation of a complete stochastic load signal. The required local stress-histories are determined with an interpolation algorithm. Based on damage calculations, the influence of multiaxiai loads on the lifetime is discussed. It is shown that the location of the damage in a part can neither be predicted by considering each axis by itself nor by assu-ming that the maximum values on all axes occur at the same time.
