摘要

A new method of preparing carbon nanotube/Natural rubber (CNT/NR) composites with high-aspect ratio carbon nanotubes was developed. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images revealed that the high-aspect ratio CNT was dispersed very well in the NR matrix. Tensile strength of the sample films with this method was increased by 130% when 3 phr. of CNT was loaded. The conductivity percolation threshold was less than 0.5 phr. of CNT and the thermal conductivity of the CNT/NR was also improved.
