摘要

The potential of using epoxidized SBR (EpSBR) for application in TPV's based on PP is investigated.The behavior is compared with the performance of SBR 1502,with respect to physical properties,phase morphology and solvent as well as oil swelling.It is shown that due to the increased incompatibility of the blend constituents the ultimate properties of PP/EpSBR are inferior to those of PP/ EpSBR.However,a mechanical pretreat-ment of the EpSBR leads to quite comparable results.The relationship between phase morphology and tensile strength is emphasised.The best performance concerning tensile strength and elongation at break is obtained with a TPV containing EpSBR epoxidized to 40 % and 15 phr of TOR as compatibilizer.PP/EpSBR,showed lower oil swelling than PP/SBR.The hardness is determined by the amount of PP.
