摘要

The standard methods are reviewed and an alternative, simple approach is proposed for a common problem in the measurement of luminous or radiant flux: that of deriving a nonlinearity correction from double-aperture measurements on the photodetector. The new algorithm is useful for measurements spanning several decades in the magnitude of the flux. It enables full use to be made of all available flux-doubling data including measurements taken at much closer intervals than a binary sequence of flux multiples and measurement sets which contain several overlapping binary sequences.
