Representing industries as diverse as automotive, aerospace, tool and die, and agriculture, this year's award-winning components showcase achievements cast in metal. Fifteen cast component designs, including a Casting of the Year, earned industry-wide recognition at the 2003 AFS Casting Congress in Milwaukee on April 29. The third annual AFS Casting Contest (sponsored by the AFS Marketing Div. and Engineered Casting Solutions magazine) attracted more than 50 components from very metal type and casting process, and were entered by casting producers and OEMs.
