摘要

Metal heating represents one of most important technology operations within technology processes of metallurgy and engineering plants, influencing production with regard to performance, quality and cost. Temperature of thermally processed products is a main parameter determining the product quality and energy consumption. For example, coils passing through the annealing process must be at first heated up to recrystallizing temperature and then cooled down in compliance with technology procedure applicable to particular steel grade. In paper the system of indirect temperatures measurement in annealing process is described. Basically on directly measured temperature of protection atmosphere the system calculates temperature on surface and inside of annealed charge. System of indirect temperatures measurement was verified with utilization of data from operational measurement on annealing plant.
