摘要

The Maryland federal judge presiding over a lead contamination lawsuit brought by an environmental group against a gun club on Nov. 22 issued a paperless order denying the gun club's motion to extend the scheduling order deadline (Potomac Riverkeeper Inc. v. National Capital Skeet and Trap Club Inc., etal. No. WDQ-5-549, D. Md., See November 2005, Page 13). U.S. Judge William D. Quarles Jr. of the District of Maryland on Oct. 25 issued a separate paperless order denying the parties' joint motion to stay proceedings while they were to examine settlement options.
