Bucking the conventional wisdom that more consolidation is necessary in the PET industry,EMS-Inventa AG,Ems,Switzerland,has designed a 600-tonne/day bottle-grade facility for Nan Ya,Taipei,Taiwan.It will come online in late 1999 in Lake City,SC,adding about 9% to total North American bottlegrade PET capacity.
