Study of the effelet of mechanical property nonhomogeneity in a weld-joint nonhomogeneous body on the J-integral using a finite element method

摘要

In this paper, a material -nonlinear finite element method for a quasi-three-dimensional problem is described. The material-nonlinear finite element code is used in studying the effect of mechanical property nonhomogeneity in a weld-joint region on the J-integral. A brief discussion on setting up an accurate assessment method of the integrity of a weld structure is given in the concluding section.
