Recent reports by the US Scientific Committee for Toxicity , Ecotoxicity, and the Environment and by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission conclude that the phthalate plasticizers used in soft PVC toys pose no health hazard. Problem is, no one outside the industry seems to have read these reports
