Williams starts new oil sands offgas plant

The Williams Cos. Inc. started up a second oil sands offgas liquids extraction plant. The new plant boosts domestic production of petrochemical feedstocks and significantly reduces emissions in the oil sands production process while recovering valuable NGLs and olefins, the company said.
