Global coffee prices posted modest losses in the period under review with Colombian Mild Arabicas being the only exception due to renewed concern about the country's crop recovery. The ICO composite indicator price dropped 2.75 cents to 126.07 cents/lb between January 8 and January 21. Colombian Mild Arabicas increased 5.97 cents to 210.30 cents/lb, with Other Mild Arabicas closing 4.18 cents down at 157.99 cents/lb. Brazilian Naturals fell 5.31 cents to 130.61 cents/lb, and Robustas decreased by 2.88 cents to 68.25 cents/lb.
