Global coffee prices continued to surge in the early part of the period under review but eventually gave up some of the gains on profit taking. The ICO composite indicator price settled 2.80 cents up at 150.05 cents/lb. Colombian Mild Arabicas dropped 9 points to 232.12 cents/lb, with Other Mild Arabicas gaining 1.45 cents to 199.03 cents/lb. Brazilian Naturals rose 3.03 cents to 152.48 cents/lb, while Robustas ended 4.61 cents higher at 83.39 cents/lb.
