The Centre for Immune Modulatory Therapies for Autoimmunityand Cancer (IMTAC) is a constellation of researchersfunded through a 6-year initiative from Karolinska Institutetand the Stockholm County Council. The eight researchgroups within the IMTAC network collaborate to strengthentranslational and clinical research at Karolinska Institutet.One of the major goals of this constellation is to promotethe development of innovative immune-based treatmentapproaches for cancer and autoimmunity. Earlier this year,the IMTAC group members and associates convened withinternationally recognized researchers for a 1 day symposiumon cancer immunotherapy on the beautiful island ofLjuster? in the Swedish Archipelago.
