Queenstake goes ahead at Magistral

Vancouver-based Queenstake Resources Ltd has commenced development of its Magistral gold project in Sinaloa State, Mexico. The company's current activities should lead to a production decision early next year. A new drilling programme began last month to test for further mineralisation.Queenstake has recently entered into agreements to arrange financing and equipment purchases to allow the project to go ahead. The current mine plan envisages total production of about 268,500 oz of gold over a seven-year mine life.
