ITT industries, Engineered Valves recently announced new optional modifications to the Fabri-Valve~R Ported slide Gate Valve. This modification is for the removal of scale that adheres to the valve interior in some heavy slurry applications.The basic valve is designed with two constant contact, steel reinforced elastomer seats that reduce compression and eliminate problems with clogging, binding and scaling that is normally caused by the highly abrasive, corrosive and heavy scale slurry applications in which it is commonly used.
