Increased railroad service is expected to help Russia's coal industry to export more coal. The Russian ministry of railways said that it planned to ship 3.63 Mt(4 million st) of coal to export terminals during October.Terminals located at seaports received about 3.3 Mt(3.6 million st) of coal during the month. About 24 percent of that went to Russia's far eastern port of Vostochny.
