Servicing M-series lighting systems

After the end of WWII, the U.S. military began to evaluate their tactical vehicles in an effort to improve and standardize them. Naturally, these improvements included the vehicles' electrical and lighting systems. Even though most WWII vehicles had served their country well - some, like the Willys Jeep, the Dodge Weapons Carrier, and the GMC 2.5-ton truck, had surpassed all expectations to the point of becoming legendary - there were other vehicles that, for one reason or another, had come to be classed as "4-F."
