Mine development on track for September start-up

Work is continuing to bring East African Gold Mines Ltd's North Mara project into mine development by September next year.The Lion Selection Group has invested 10.2 million dollars in EAGM and holds an 11.6 percent interest.The mine, in the North Mara region, 150 kilometres east of Lake Victoria, will operate at a capacity of 2 million tonnes per annum to produce a yearly average of 170,000 ounces over a 10-year mine life.
