Relocation to the mainland adds impetus

INTEC LTD IS looking to buy Delta EMD Australia Pty Ltd's integrated minerals processing facility - a deal that will include the acquisition of land, buildings, plant and equipment - and is currently carrying out due diligence on the asset. Shortly after announcing the move, Western Australian resources house Bass Metals Ltd told the market it was purchasing Intec's 1.5 million tonne per annum Hellyer processing facility in Tasmania for 4 million dollars. Under the terms of the latter agreement, Bass will acquire the Hellyer flotation concentrator, the asset's substantial tailings resource and a mining lease.
