Queensland-based resources house Meridian Minerals Ltd made headlines in mid May with the sale of its promising 100% owned Lennard Shelf base metals project in Western Australia's Kimberleys to cornerstone Chinese shareholder Northwest Nonferrous International Investment Company Ltd. Northwest is the largest shareholder in Meridian, holding a 41.34% stake.
