Abra targets deposit's high-grade core

With a minimum target of uncovering 10 million tonnes at 10 percent lead at its Abra base metal deposit in Western Australia, Abra Mining Ltd is targeting its high-grade core with a 2 million dollars diamond drill program. The company, founded in July 2004, is applying a two-pronged strategy at its Mulgul project, located some 200 kilometres north of Meekatharra and covering an area of about 190 square km. With the high-grade core being its first objective, the second is to refine and evaluate other priority exploration targets. The 2 million dollars diamond drill program will incorporate 10,000 metres of diamond coring. The best intersection to date into the high-grade core was 65m at 18.5 percent lead.
