Operating costs swell in Zimbabwe

COMING OFF A six-month share price low in London following the release of its June quarterly result, Aquarius Platinum Ltd chief executive Stuart Murray is only too aware the group must lift volumes to cope with rising costs. The company, which is also listed on the ASX and JSE, reported a fall in group platinum group metal (PGM) production from its South African and Zimbabwe mines in the June reporting period. Aquarius' attributable production for the quarter totalled 109,863 ounces, down from 111,524 oz in the preceding three months.
