MOD lifts Sams Creek to 1 M ounces

The big nine hole diamond drilling programme conducted by MOD Resources Ltd (ASX: MOD) at the high country Sams Creek gold project in the Golden Bay region at the top of New Zealand's South Island has lifted the resource to more than 1 million ounces.The company which is earning 80% in the project from OceanaGold Corporation (ASX, NZX & TSX: OGC) has lifted Sams Creek's resource by 33% to 1.024 M oz on a drilling programme the company said had given it a discovery cost of $7.50/oz.
