Located within the Tuckabianna Greenstone belt around 25 kilometres east of Cue in WA's Murchison, the project area covers 330 square kilometres and includes the Gilt Edge and Jasper Queen mining leases. Westcoast currently has its eyes on two initial targets - one below the old Caustons open pit on the western limb of the Kurrajong syncline and in the area near the Gilt Edge and Jasper Queen operations to the north west of the lease area. During February the Perth-based junior carried out a 13-hole, 3,500 metre drilling program beneath Caustons to confirm targets generated by a 3D model of the deposit's geology.
