摘要

Microwave filters based on the concept of Epsilon Near Zero (ENZ) tunneling effect are presented. ENZ metamaterials provide interesting phenomena such as anomalous tunneling and energy squeezing through ultra narrow waveguide channels. Using this concept two filters are demonstrated with Chebyshev response and one with a quasi-elliptic response by adding transmission zeroes with hairpin resonators. Experimental and simulated responses are presented with good agreement.
