摘要

Equivalence between space-fed microstrip antenna arrays and horn antenna is established. A method is proposed to determine the array height from the fed microstrip antenna and correction of phase error across the array aperture. A 25-element array with elements arranged in a 5×5 rectangular grid is designed. Simulated and measured results are presented. Space-fed arrays are easy to fabricate, have less weight, high gain, and low side lobe levels.
