The downward trend in LME lead stocks has paused recently with the total standing at 199,775 tonnes as of Friday, up from a low of 189,050 tonnes seen in mid-June. However, considering that stocks on the LME ended last year at 317,700 tonnes, they are now down 37% so far this year.
