EPA issues new guidance for alternative fuel systems

In December, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a guidance letter for manufactrers of LPG and CNG alternative fuel systems. Guidance CCD-02-22, which became effective immediately, deals with on-board refueling vapor recovery (ORVR) applications on light-duty vehicles and also clarified EPA's policty for granting waivers form ORVR testing for bi-fuel vehicles that have been modified by an aftermarket conversion company.
