Schmude Oil redrill of Niagaran reef well in Convis 8 reservoir looks promising

CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich.—Traverse City, Mich.-based independent Schmude Oil Co. reports the successful completion of its recent directional redrill of an abandoned Convis 8-1S-6W Niagaran producer, with the company's Pulford 1-8 (SL: SE NE NE, Sec 8-T1S-R6W, Convis Twp., Calhoun Co.) Niagaran development test currently producing on pump at a rate of 30 barrels per day oil and no water, according to Schmude Oil geologist Paul Schmude. Advanced Energy Services Rig 27 drilled the hole to a measured total depth of 3,071 feet (3,026 feet true vertical) in late June and early July 2012.
