Production from handful of Collingwood Formation wells push Encana Oil & Gas (USA) near top of list of NGL producers in Michigan

KALKASKA COUNTY, Mich.—An analysis of production data reported to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality's Office of Oil, Gas & Minerals shows that five Ordovician Collingwood Formation wells drilled and operated by Encana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. in Kalkaska County and one Encana Collingwood well in Crawford County produced 4,896 barrels oil, 51,607 barrels natural gas liquids (NGL) and 1,007,286 Mcf natural gas in the first half of 2014.
