摘要

The development of the "air-shock, air-impact and air-impact plus" procedures based on the expansion of the compressed air allow the casting of parts of an unprecedented quality, an essential feature on the current market of cast parts. Starting from the physical phenomenon, which is generated during moulding by the expansion of the compressed air, the authors have developed a qualitative mathematical model of the procedure. The evolution of the final result of ramming based on the energy of compressed air in expansion, determined with the established mathematical model has been confirmed by the completed experimental research.
