Laser employs articulated arm for robotic cutting

PRC LASER is offering a new CO2 laser cutting and welding technique for three-dimensional formed parts. This technique features a 3,000 watt CO2 laser integrated with an articulated arm beam delivery system and a processing head manipulated by a multi-axis robot. This technique offers the same multi-axis flexibility as a YAG laser with a fiber optic beam delivery system but is significantly lower in cost to own and operate.
