摘要

Recent development regarding electric arc furnace modernisation required operation with high values for capacity, productivity and specific power. Optimised and rational operation of such systems requires compulsory monitorisation of process, constructional and electrical parameters. Up-to-date evolution of EAF demonstrates that electrical factors can't be anymore separated of process conditions. In this respect a new therminology is suggested by authors: electrotechnological parameters and electrotechnological regime. Information regarding the analysis of possibilities to operate in such conditions, are presented in the paper, for a 100 ton EAF.
