Alcoa, USA, orders heat treatment plant

The Alcoa plate factory in Davenport/USA has ordered a horizontal facility for solution heat treating aluminium plates. The facility will be manufactured jointly by Ebner in Linz Austria and their American subsidiary in Wadsworth/OH. Engineering and critical components of the furnace and quenching will be supplied by the headquarters in Austria. The fabrication and assembly of all other components will be carried out by the American subsidiary, which is also responsible for the installation on site.
