摘要

Two patented rolling methods have been developed by HJB Rolling Mill Technology GmbH. The discontinuous multistage rolling process (DMS) produces strips with crosswise profiled bases and surface coats or with plane bases and crosswise profiled surface coats. The other technique, the inlay method, is a rolling process to produce a strip featuring a stepped profile over its cross section. The rolling methods guarantee highest quality of profiles, even for profiled strips made of single coat materials or plated multi-coat materials which so far have not been able to be manufactured. The new methods guarantee lowest possible raw material and energy costs as well as a minimum number of production steps.
