UC Rusal’s earnings rise in Q3, lifts demand growth outlook for year

UC Rusal reported a 0.2% year-on-year rise in earnings during thethird quarter, with the aluminium producer raising its demandgrowth outlook for 2016.“The company remains optimistic as we approach the year-end,with aluminium consumption growing at a very healthy pace whilesupply remains tight due to stronger pressure from increasing costinflation,” Vladislav Soloviev, ceo, said in the statement.
