Chinese traders raise offers on tight tungsten concentrate supply

Chinese traders actively raised their offers on ammoniumparatungstate (APT) and ferro-tungsten after the Chinese New Yearbreak thanks to tight market availability of the raw material,tungsten concentrate.The Chinese State Reserve Bureau (SRB) issued a tender on February2 to buy 8,500 tonnes of 65% content black tungsten concentrate at65,800 yuan ($10,096) per tonne, but it was not accepted because ofthe low bid price, according to market participants.
