Alcoa subsidiary AWAC inks $350m of bauxite supply contracts

Alcoa World Alumina and Chemicals (AWAC) has secured multiplebauxite supply contracts valued at above $350 million over the nexttwo years.Under the contracts, AWAC will supply bauxite to externalcustomers with bauxite from three of its global mines, and the newcontracts were signed with customers in China, Europe and Brazil,parent-company Alcoa, the world’s largest bauxite miner,announced on Wednesday April 6.
