Copper prices on the Shanghai Futures Exchange continued to riseduring Asian trading hours on Tuesday November 22 as positivesentiment returned to the base metals market after the previousday’s surge.The price of the most active SHFE January copper rose 630 yuan ($91)to 45,750 yuan per tonne with around 240,000 lots changing handsso far. Open interest of the contract was at around 233,600 positions,down from 238,170 positions at Monday’s close.
