CIS billet market at 15-month high, but rollback in prices expected

The Black Sea export market price for CIS-origin billet has increased by$50 per tonne over the past week.Metal Bulletin sister title Steel First’s price assessment for CIS billetexports was $395-400 per tonne fob Black Sea on Monday April 18, upfrom $345-350 per tonne fob Black Sea a week ago.This is the highest level since January 12, 2015, when theassessment was $392-405 per tonne.
