摘要

It's fun! It's wacky! It's MADI! MADI [pronounced mah-DEE] is a modern art movement characterized by the use of vibrant colors and bold, geometric shapes. It originated in Argentina in the 1940s but continues to thrive today. Clear evidence of its vitality can be found in Dallas, TX, where the world's first permanent MADI museum was recently opened. The idea for a MADI Museum was conceived by Bill Masterson-a partner in the Dallas law firm of Kilgore & Kilgore. He and his wife, Dorothy, were introduced to the style by Volf Roitman, an architect and renowned MADI artist. Roitman was born in Uraguay, raised in Buenos Aires and now resides in Florida.
