Curved Metal Cornice Enhances Bank's Appearance

When Sheeley Architects, Ft. Myers, FL, incorporated a cornice into the design of the new Busey Bank in Ft. Myers, the company contacted Floline Architectural Systems, St. Louis, MO, to provide the curved panels for the project."Because of the size of the cornice and the prominence of the feature in our design, we knew that a factory manufactured panel was the only way to achieve the distinctive lines we envisioned," said Frank Vellake, project architect. "We had never before incorporated a curved architectural panel into one of our designs. Floline was very helpful in assisting with shop drawings and suggesting framing options."
